We know that things can be confusing when looking for quality resources. So we came up with a list.

Through serving our community and clients, we've come across several organizations that share our purpose of solving problems for the ones we serve. We hope this list proves to be helpful. Any questions or would like to suggest a high-quality vendor, let us know!

Speech and Language Therapy

  • Fitly Spoken, LLC - At Fitly Spoken, our main focus is the child as well as the family. We promote improving the child's skills as well as educating the family on progressive strategies that can carry over into the home. In addition to servicing children with speech and language deficits, we have a unique specialty, Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), which allows us to reach and help those children who are non-verbal.  Offering speech & occupational therapy services. 
  • All About Kids Therapy Services - We started with the idea and dedication to provide a more personalized and higher level of pediatric physical and occupational therapy services. Having more than 19 years of experience in the field of pediatric therapies in Georgia, we have dedicated our lives to serving children with orthopedic, neurological and developmental disease and disabilities. Offering occupational, physical, speech, aquatic therapies.
  • Tender Ones Therapy Services - Tender Ones Therapy Services (TOTS) is a therapist owned pediatric rehabilitation company.  We are a multi-disciplinary company that is comprised of an exceptional staff of therapists and office support personnel. We are in-network with many insurance companies and Georgia Medicaid including Amerigroup and Caresource.  Offering occupational, physical, speech, aquatic therapies.

  • Lekotek - The word, "Lekotek," is Swedish and literally means "play library." Lekotek's mission is to include children with disabilities into their families, schools, and communities. For children with physical, cognitive and/or sensory disabilities, it's a chance to play and learn using specialized toys and computer equipment. Lekotek helps all children experience success through play.
  • SAWDUST Occupational Therapy, LLC - Our mission is to teach life skills and work habits to young adults and children with special needs through the use of construction, woodworking and craft thereby assisting with future employment opportunities. Our Occupational Therapists are licensed and experienced in their field, bringing a passion for craftsmanship and woodworking into a clinical setting. We want to share these skills with those who can grow from them and use them to enrich their lives.

Autism Supports

  • Behavior Analysis and Intervention Center - We believe that every individual deserves a chance at developing to their full potential. Through the practice and training of ABA therapy, our BCBA supervised staff will skillfully teach foundational skills to bring about meaningful growth and change. 
  • Wisteria Psychological Services is committed to providing individualized care for our clients. We believe a crucial way in doing so is collaborating with the parents alongside using evidence-based treatment and the science of applied behavior analysis to find a treatment plan. By doing so, we provide individuals and their families with the support tools they need to see a reduction in challenging behaviors while evaluating the effectiveness of interventions. Starting with a comprehensive assessment in clinic, we then work to move services to the child’s natural environment in their home while training the parents to implement treatments components
  • Children's Autism Foundation (CAF) - Children's Autism Foundation (CAF) is dedicated to providing therapeutic, educational, and financial support for families and individuals across the spectrum. We do this through advocacy and support by increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

Navigation Supports

  • JR Connections - Helping Medically Fragile Parents take control of their child's medical journey with planners made especially for the special needs life!  This planner will help you document and organize care information in one central location and make it easier for someone to assume care responsibilities for you loved should the Primary Caregiver be temporarily unavailable. 

Community-Outreach Support Group

  • FOCUS - (Families of Children Under Stress) - FOCUS offers Comfort, Hope, & Fun to children, teens, & young adults with developmental, cognitive, and/or physical disabilities and their families. In 2017, the Fragile Kids Foundation merged with FOCUS so we now also offer grants for prescribed medical equipment that is not covered by Medicaid or insurance. We now offer wraparound services to over 4,500 families in and around metro Atlanta with programs such as support groups, hospital visits, workshops, respite care, summer camps, family activities, and medical equipment. 
  • Cam and Madi’s Promise, Incorporated (C.A.M.P) - Where Special Needs families deserve the best life waiting for them!  C.A.M.P. is an organization dedicated to supporting families with children affected by developmental & intellectual disabilities in Georgia.  At C.A.M.P, we are devoted to helping Special Needs families overcome financial and emotional hardships that arise while trying to meet the demands of today's costly healthcare system. We can assist with Katie Beckett Waiver applications, NOW/COMP Waiver required waitlist, community resource fairs, and more.   
  • Special Education IEP & Katie Beckett Waiver Advocate | Debbie Dobbs Advocacy, LLC - We provide customized solutions to meet the unique needs of all of our families. We offer three Katie Beckett Waiver application options including a free webinar, review of a parent completed application, and comprehensive assistance including form completion for the entire application process. We also assist families help their children receive a Free Appropriate Public Education as our number one priority. We can attend IEP, Special Education Eligibility and 504 meetings with you.  We also offer records reviews and consultation, and advocacy packages individualized to meet your needs.   
  • Parent 2 Parent, Georgia - Parent to Parent of Georgia offers a variety of services to Georgia families impacted by disabilities or special healthcare needs. Our Vision is to be the source of choice for support, information, education, and leadership development for Georgians with disabilities or special health care needs, ages birth to 26, and their families. 
  • Bobby Dodd Institute - Illuminating the possibilities in  d̶i̶s̶abilities.  "No matter your phase of life or current situation, we’re here to help. We offer comprehensive support programs for individuals with disabilities, as well as their families and support network."
  • Spectrum | Autism Support Groups -   We’re here to support the autism community through our many programs, events and resources. Our Monthly Support Groups, Respite Programs and Family Camp are geared toward supporting the entire family, while our Summer Day Camp, Overnight Camps and Social Skills Groups provide social opportunities for individuals of all abilities on the autism spectrum.

Our KidMed Team will handle all the legwork with your physician's office and Medicaid to ensure a seamless process. We understand how important it is for our customers to obtain all of their incontinence supplies in a timely manner.
